U.S. President Donald Trump told Fox News on Friday that United States military has the capability to dismantle Iran’s critical infrastructure within 48 hours.<\/p>\n
“I didn’t underestimate anything,” Trump said when asked about the country’s leadership and capabilities. “We could take out their bridges and electricity capacity in two days. Everything.”<\/p>\n
During the interview, Trump discussed past attempts to negotiate with Tehran, stating that the two sides had previously approached the outline of an agreement. “We really had the confines of a deal,” Trump said. “No nuclear, they were going to give us the dust… and every time they’d make a deal, the next day it’s like we didn’t have that conversation.”<\/p>\n
Trump said this sequence occurred about five times. “There’s something wrong with them. Actually, they’re crazy,” he said, adding, “and you know what? Because of that, they cannot have a nuclear weapon.”<\/p>\n
