{"id":121300,"date":"2026-05-19T13:52:08","date_gmt":"2026-05-19T13:52:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/121300\/"},"modified":"2026-05-19T13:52:08","modified_gmt":"2026-05-19T13:52:08","slug":"car-bomb-kills-syrian-soldier-wounds-others-in-damascus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/121300\/","title":{"rendered":"Car bomb kills Syrian soldier, wounds others in Damascus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/middle-east\/article-896691\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Syrian<\/a> soldier was killed, and a number were wounded by a car bomb that exploded outside a Defense Ministry building in Damascus, the ministry said in a statement carried by state media.<\/p>\n<p>Soldiers had discovered a different <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/defense-news\/article-894836\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">bomb<\/a> near the building in the capital&#8217;s Bab Sharqi district and were trying to dismantle it when the car bomb went off nearby, the ministry said.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/crime-in-israel\/article-896497\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Syria<\/a>\u2019s health ministry said emergency and ambulance teams had responded to the explosion.
