A LEBANON VALLEY COLLEGE STUDENT IS SUING THE SCHOOL IN FEDERAL COURT, ACCUSING LEADERSHIP OF FAILING TO PROTECT HER AFTER AN ALLEGED ON CAMPUS SEXUAL ASSAULT AND RETALIATING AFTER SHE REPORTED IT. THIS COMPLAINT, FILED ON MAY 6TH, ALLEGES THE STUDENT WAS ASSAULTED IN A CAMPUS DORM ROOM IN SEPTEMBER OF 2024. THE VICTIM CLAIMS THE COLLEGE RESPONDED WITH DELIBERATE INDIFFERENCE BY ALLOWING THE ALLEGED ASSAILANT ASSAILANT TO REMAIN IN THE SAME ACADEMIC PROGRAM, ATHLETIC TEAM AND CAMPUS JOB WHILE FAILING TO PROVIDE ACCOMMODATIONS OR MAKE HER FEEL SAFE. THE SUIT ALSO ALLEGES RETALIATION, INCLUDING PRESSURE TO TAKE TIME OFF FROM SCHOOL. ACADEMIC DISCIPLINE, REDUCED GRADES AND HARASSMENT. IN ADDITION TO TITLE NINE RELATED CLAIMS.
