The first two projects involve constructing new integrated plants, each designed with a production capacity of 6,000 tonnes per day. One of these facilities is planned for the Kufa quarries area in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Governorate, while the other is slated for the Mosul district in Nineveh Governorate. The third project concerns the expansion of the existing Hadbaa cement plant, also located in the Mosul district.<\/p>\n<p>The scope of the expansion project includes establishing a new dry-process line that runs on gas fuel, with a capacity to produce 3,200 tonnes per day of ordinary Portland cement (OPC) and sulphate-resistant cement (SRC). According to ICSC, this new line must be capable of producing cement suitable for dam filling applications. The company has invited both Iraqi and Arab investors, as well as firms specializing in cement plant development, to participate in these projects.
