Iran&#8217;s top joint military command announced on Thursday the closure of the \u200bStrait of Hormuz, including oil \u2060tankers and commercial \u200cships, saying any vessel that \u200bwill \u200battempt passage will be shot at.<\/p>\n<p>Iranian media \u2060also reported explosion sounds off the \u200bcoast of Sirik.<br \/>A military source told state \u200bmedia that the sounds heard near Sirik were linked to Iranian forces confronting an oil tanker attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
