BAGHDAD \u2014 Iraq\u2019s Meteorological Authority on Friday forecast clear weather across the country over the next four days, with light dust expected at intervals and temperatures varying between regions.<\/p>\n
According to a statement issued by the authority, Saturday\u2019s weather will be clear nationwide, with temperatures remaining similar to those recorded the previous day.<\/p>\n
Forecast high temperatures for Saturday are expected to reach 36\u00b0C in Sulaymaniyah, 37\u00b0C in Duhok and Nineveh, 38\u00b0C in Erbil, 40\u00b0C in Anbar, 41\u00b0C in Kirkuk and Diyala, and 42\u00b0C in Baghdad, Salah al-Din, Karbala and Babil.<\/p>\n
Temperatures are forecast to reach 44\u00b0C in Najaf, Wasit, Diwaniyah and Maysan, 46\u00b0C in Dhi Qar and Muthanna, and 47\u00b0C in Basra.<\/p>\n
The authority said Sunday will also be clear across the country, with light to moderate northwesterly winds becoming active at times during the day and causing light dust. Temperatures are expected to remain near Saturday\u2019s levels.<\/p>\n
On Monday, clear conditions are expected to continue, while temperatures will decline slightly compared with the previous day.<\/p>\n
Tuesday\u2019s forecast indicates clear weather nationwide, with light to moderate northwesterly winds becoming active in eastern parts of central and southern Iraq, causing light dust.
