The official said the deal is close but not yet finalized. They outlined five major terms Iran has agreed to: destroying and removing its nuclear material, dismantling its nuclear program, ensuring the Strait of Hormuz remains open, ceasing funding for terrorist groups, and withholding access to frozen assets until compliance is verified. <\/p>\n

The official also said that Iran could eventually receive sanctions relief and access to frozen assets, but stressed the deal is performance-based.<\/p>\n
