Norwegian fans<\/a> brought the viking energy to Gillette Stadium<\/a> (known as Foxborough Stadium) on Tuesday night during Noway\u2019s World Cup<\/a> match against Iraq<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Several fans performed the viking row \u2014 a popular coordinated chant that is a synchronized rowing motion \u2014 during Norway\u2019s first World Cup game in 28 years.<\/p>\n

The Norway fans made their voices heard throughout Gillette Stadium in what was a lively atmosphere. At first, the row wasn\u2019t in unison but they all got on the same page by the end of the game.<\/p>\n

Despite some field issues<\/a> that included a sprinkler malfunction<\/a>, Norway earned a 4-1 win<\/a> in Group I.<\/p>\n

Norway returns to World Cup<\/a> action on June 22 when it plays Senegal New York New Jersey Stadium (MetLife Stadium) in East Rutherford, New Jersey at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n

Iraq will take on France on Monday at 5 p.m. at Philadelphia Stadium (Lincoln Financial Field). <\/p>\n
