{"id":180769,"date":"2026-06-27T22:42:20","date_gmt":"2026-06-27T22:42:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/180769\/"},"modified":"2026-06-27T22:42:20","modified_gmt":"2026-06-27T22:42:20","slug":"u-s-military-says-it-hit-multiple-iran-targets-on-trumps-orders-after-ship-attack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/180769\/","title":{"rendered":"U.S. military says it hit multiple Iran targets on Trump\u2019s orders after ship attack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WASHINGTON (TNND) \u2014 The U.S. military announced on Saturday that it had struck multiple targets in Iran at President Donald Trump\u2019s direction, continuing a string of attacks that have shaken the war\u2019s uneasy ceasefire.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. Central Command said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/centcom\/status\/2070987021930102919?s=46\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"https:\/\/x.com\/centcom\/status\/2070987021930102919?s=46\" class=\"themeColorForLinks\" rel=\"nofollow\">post on X<\/a> that \u201cIran had a chance to honor the ceasefire agreement\u201d but \u201celected not to\u201d when its forces attacked a ship near the Strait of Hormuz earlier Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Iran had earlier launched a drone assault that targeted Bahrain, while a ship in the Strait of Hormuz separately came under attack Saturday.
