I think they\u2019ve already left or they\u2019re just about getting ready to leave. So we\u2019ll see how that goes, but we\u2019re doing very well on that front. But the meeting in Doha is going to be perhaps important, perhaps not. We\u2019re going to find out. But we\u2019re winning militarily. It\u2019s almost won militarily, I would say. And it\u2019s really very simple. It\u2019s the denuclearization of Iran. We don&#8217;t want them to have a nuclear weapon \u2014 and they&#8217;re not going to have a nuclear weapon.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/EJO2IbGZty\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/EJO2IbGZty<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Rapid Response 47 (@RapidResponse47) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RapidResponse47\/status\/2071679198075191494?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow\">June 29, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Separately, Fox News quoted a US official as saying that technical talks regarding the memorandum of understanding with Iran are scheduled to continue this week.<\/p>\n<p>Iran says no talks planned<\/p>\n<p>Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei dismissed Trump\u2019s claim during a press briefing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere will be no negotiation meeting with the American side at any level in the coming days,\u201d Baghaei said.<\/p>\n<p>STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD<\/p>\n<p>He said an Iranian expert delegation would travel to Doha later this week only to monitor implementation of the MoU, particularly Article 11, which deals with the release of Iran\u2019s frozen assets.<\/p>\n<p>Baghaei added that any visit by US representatives to Qatar would be unrelated to the Iranian delegation.<\/p>\n<p>Baghaei said negotiations on a final agreement could begin only after key provisions of the MoU had been implemented and continued to be enforced.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have not yet entered the stage of negotiating a final agreement,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>According to Baghaei, the United States has already issued the required authorisations under Article 10 relating to Iranian oil exports, while<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstpost.com\/world\/great-victory-irans-pezeshkian-says-half-of-12-billion-in-frozen-assets-to-be-released-as-us-talks-continue-14027485.html\" id=\"https:\/\/www.firstpost.com\/world\/great-victory-irans-pezeshkian-says-half-of-12-billion-in-frozen-assets-to-be-released-as-us-talks-continue-14027485.html\" class=\"body_anchor\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">implementation of Article 11 on frozen assets<\/a> is also under way.<\/p>\n<p>The 14-point memorandum of understanding came into force on June 18 after it was digitally signed by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Donald Trump following weeks of conflict.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement includes a ceasefire, arrangements related to Israeli withdrawal in Lebanon, temporary navigation and security coordination in the Strait of Hormuz, along with provisions covering Iranian oil exports and access to frozen assets.<\/p>\n<p>STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD<\/p>\n<p>Iran had earlier cancelled technical talks scheduled for Sunday, citing recent US attacks and what it described as Washington\u2019s failure to meet conditions under the MoU.
