{"id":184507,"date":"2026-06-30T13:05:15","date_gmt":"2026-06-30T13:05:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/184507\/"},"modified":"2026-06-30T13:05:15","modified_gmt":"2026-06-30T13:05:15","slug":"ambassador-mike-huckabee-rejects-chance-of-us-israel-alliance-split","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/184507\/","title":{"rendered":"Ambassador Mike Huckabee rejects chance of US-Israel alliance split"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>US Ambassador to Israel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/jerusalem-report\/article-900818\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mike Huckabee<\/a> said Monday that there was \u201cnot a chance\u201d the historic relationship between the United States and Israel would break apart, describing the alliance as too deeply rooted for either country to abandon.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a special <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/jerusalem-report\/article-900789\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Israeli-American<\/a> Council America 250 celebration in Tel Aviv hosted by American-Israeli businesswoman and philanthropist Shari Arison, Huckabee said the partnership between Washington and Jerusalem was built on shared values, history, and strategic interests.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">\u201cWhen I hear people say, \u2018Is it possible America and Israel will split apart and no longer enjoy this extraordinary partnership?\u2019 I say, \u2018No, you\u2019ve got to understand, we are not that stupid. I hope we\u2019re never going to be that stupid,\u2019\u201d Huckabee said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">\u201cIt\u2019s like an incredible marriage between Israel and the United States,\u201d he continued. \u201cWhen people asked me, are we going to break up, I say, \u2018Not a chance,\u2019 because neither country can afford the alimony if we ever broke up. That\u2019s why we will be partners for as long as there is.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event was held as part of IAC\u2019s America 250 programming, marking the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States. Among those in attendance were businesswoman and philanthropist Dr. Miriam Adelson; Israeli entrepreneur and philanthropist Yakir Gabay, a member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/middle-east\/article-899018\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gaza Board of Peace<\/a>; IAC CEO Elan S. (credit: REUTERS\/RONEN ZVULUN\/FILE PHOTO)US-Israel relationship rooted in Judeo-Christian values, bible led to US founding<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Huckabee said the US-Israel relationship was grounded in Judeo-Christian values and argued that the Jewish people and the Hebrew Bible played a formative role in America\u2019s founding.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">\u201cAs I celebrate America, I celebrate the heritage that as an American I have thanks to the Jewish foundation upon which the United States was born and which it has thrived,\u201d Huckabee said. \u201cIf the United States ever forgets its heritage, and forgets the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, we will not be the great nation we have become, and we will fall.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Carr, who previously served as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/international\/article-900875\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">US special envoy<\/a> to monitor and combat antisemitism, said the IAC event in Israel was intended to celebrate \u201c250 years of American philosemitism.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">\u201cThe US-Israel relationship has been forged through mutual interests and common threats, but more importantly, it is born out of a deeply shared spiritual DNA that weaves the destiny of these two great powers together,\u201d Carr said. \u201cHappy Birthday America!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>IAC working to strengthen ties between America and Israel<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Arison said she hosted the event to strengthen ties between the United States and Israel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">\u201cAs an American Israeli, I was happy to host the IAC to strengthen the ties between the United States and Israel,\u201d she said. \u201cOur role, as Jews around the globe, is to bring light to the world, and that light can only be brought through peace and unity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Before the event, the IAC held a gathering of philanthropists in partnership with the Ruderman Family Foundation. Participants from Israel and the United States discussed ways to strengthen the US-Israel relationship and deepen ties between Israeli society and the American Jewish community.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">The IAC is a nonprofit organization focused on strengthening Israeli-American and Jewish-American identity and advocating for the US-Israel relationship.
