{"id":185024,"date":"2026-06-30T20:09:08","date_gmt":"2026-06-30T20:09:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/185024\/"},"modified":"2026-06-30T20:09:08","modified_gmt":"2026-06-30T20:09:08","slug":"most-israeli-public-services-are-digital-new-report-reveals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/185024\/","title":{"rendered":"Most Israeli public services are digital, new report reveals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Almost 65% of all <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/politics-and-diplomacy\/article-895199\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">public services<\/a> provided by Israel&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/article-898860\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">state agencies<\/a> are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/article-899678\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">digitized<\/a>, while 116 that should have been digitized by law are still pending implementation, a new report by the National Digital Network revealed on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The report,\u00a0submitted to the Knesset, mapped the 4,562\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/article-896704\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">public services<\/a> in Israel\u00a0provided by government ministries, support units, corporations, and authorities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">The report notes that while more than half of the services are available in digital format, much work remains to be done on digital accessibility.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Some of the most common services currently digitized are renewing a driver&#8217;s license, applying for an identity card, obtaining a disability certificate, and registering for daycare.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Additionally, 138 of the services still pending full digitalization are accessible via email.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">According to the report, 70 local authorities, representing 27% of all local authorities in Israel, asked the National Digital Network for help with digitizing their services.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">More than half of them are from low socioeconomic clusters, and about 30% are authorities from the non-Jewish sector, the network revealed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Additionally, the report noted that 1,940 services are for physical residents, 1,721 are intended for businesses or organizations only, and 889 are combined services intended for both citizens and businesses or organizations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Almost 65% of all public services provided by Israel&#8217;s state agencies are digitized, while 116 that should have&hellip;\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":185025,"comment_status":"","ping_status":"","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":"","_share_on_mastodon":"0"},"categories":[33],"tags":[2672,37,55559,36311,55560],"class_list":["post-185024","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-israel","tag-digital","tag-israel","tag-israel-online","tag-public-service","tag-public-services-in-smart-cities"],"share_on_mastodon":{"url":"https:\/\/pubeurope.com\/@iran\/116840874810915141","error":""},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/185024","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=185024"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/185024\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/185025"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=185024"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=185024"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=185024"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
