The top Israeli defense official has been public about Jerusalem\u2019s desire to kill senior Iranian leaders, and President Donald Trump has in the past made clear that those efforts were complicating negotiations.In March, he declined to tell reporters who in Iran the U.S. was negotiating with because \u201cI don\u2019t want them to be killed.\u201d\u201cYou know, it\u2019s a little tough,\u201d he said. \u201cThey\u2019ve wiped out everybody.\u201dA spokeswoman for the Israeli embassy in Washington declined to comment.
