\t\t\t\tBy signing up, you agree to the terms<\/a><\/p>\n NSN had partnered with Stoneweg, a Swiss investment platform in Geneva, and the team is now registered with a Swiss license operating mostly from Girona and Barcelona, where the world\u2019s most prestigious cycling race starts on Saturday.<\/p>\n \t \u201cI think it\u2019s special for everyone because it\u2019s Barcelona and because we\u2019re all involved in this wonderful project,\u201d Iniesta told a press conference on Wednesday.<\/p>\n Sam Bewley, NSN Cycling Team\u2019s head sports director, emphasized the significance of Barcelona hosting the start.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s obviously a pretty exciting start to the Tour de France for us this year with NSN\u2019s home city, and the Tour de France is already such a big race, but we can really feel the excitement in our team and our organization with the Barcelona start,\u201d Bewley told Reuters.<\/p>\n \u201cIt certainly feels different from the last couple of years, where we started in places that we didn\u2019t have any relationship with,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n The former professional cyclist insisted the team\u2019s sporting ethos hadn\u2019t changed despite the new Catalan identity.<\/p>\n \t \u201cWe\u2019ve changed our owners and our management and our sponsors, but nothing\u2019s changed in the sense of just focusing on performance,\u201d Bewley said.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t think anybody enjoyed the disruptions we had last year, but I\u2019ve always just been focused on trying to get the best out of our athletes, and this remains the same this year.\u201d<\/p>\n Led by Eritrean rider\u00a0Biniam Girmay, who secured three stage wins and the green jersey in the 2024 edition of the Tour when he competed for Intermarche-Wanty, NSN will eye similar successes this year.<\/p>\n Israeli star rider Nadav Raisberg is also competing for the team.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat we\u2019re really hoping for is to celebrate a stage win together,\u201d Iniesta said. \u201cThat would be something very special.
