Reports indicate that France and Britain are considering deploying specialized naval mine-countermeasures and maritime security capabilities.<\/p>\n
This is being done in coordination with Oman, with the aim of enhancing the safety of commercial vessels and restoring confidence in transit through the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, reports also suggest the repositioning of the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle.<\/p>\n

Washington is monitoring Iranian actions related to managing shipping lanes and imposing fees on vessels. It has affirmed that it will respond to any steps that could disrupt international trade.<\/p>\n
