<\/p>\nSeveral local organizations are combining efforts to provide Lebanon County students with school supplies for the coming academic year.<\/p>\n
United Way of Lebanon County, Making a Difference of Lebanon, and the Lebanon Valley Family YMCA are hosting Stuff the Bus, a collaborative school supply drive, through July 17. According to press materials, the primary needs include book bags, calculators, crayons and colored pencils, pencils and pens, notebooks, and folders.<\/p>\n
\u201cHaving the right supplies does far more than simply fill backpacks,\u201d the release says. \u201cIt builds confidence, encourages classroom participation, and gives children a positive start to the academic year.\u201d<\/p>\n
Collection boxes can be found at the following locations:<\/p>\n
Jonestown Bank & Trust at 2 W. Market St., Jonestown<\/p>\n
Greek Town Pizza & Restaurant at 544 Walnut St., Lebanon<\/p>\n
Lebanon Valley Family YMCA at 201 N. 7th St., Lebanon<\/p>\n
Chick-fil-A at 1147 Quentin Road, Lebanon<\/p>\n
\u201cWhether you contribute one item or many items, every donation helps fill backpacks, helps ease the financial burden on local families, and prepares students for a successful academic year,\u201d the release says.<\/p>\n
