RPG and anti-tank missile launchers were found in the bedroom of a civilian home in the village of Tallousa in southern Lebanon<\/a>, the IDF announced on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Also found in the home, whose village is located within the IDF Security Zone, were RPG ammunition, anti-tank missiles, vests, helmets, and Hezbollah<\/a> terrorist organization flags, the military added.<\/p>\n

The IDF 401st Brigade killed over 20 Hezbollah terrorists and destroyed over 90 terror infrastructure sites during its operations in the village, which the military described as a Hezbollah hub.<\/p>\n

The weapons were found as part of IDF operations in the village aimed at the removal of threats, with the military noting that such operations are continuing.<\/p>\n

On Monday, the IDF announced it had found over 150 weapons in the southern Lebanese village of Hadatha<\/a> over the past month, also located in the Security Zone.<\/p>\n

According to the IDF, the weapons found during the operation included RPG rockets, anti-tank missiles, machine guns, and Kalashnikov rifles.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen Eyal Zamir<\/a> met with Israeli soldiers at the Beaufort Ridge in southern Lebanon, where he described the Hezbollah terror group as “exhausted.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

“The military achievements you secured weakened Hezbollah,” he said. “It is now relying on its Iranian patron to save it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The IDF chief described Beaufort as “saturated with terrorist infrastructure,” noting the significance of Israel having taken it from Hezbollah’s control.<\/p>\n

“The Hezbollah terrorist organization, funded and directed by Iran, spent decades constructing underground tunnels throughout the area to threaten northern Israeli communities,” said Zamir. “Now, our troops have operational control of this key terrain both above ground and of these underground tunnel networks.”<\/p>\n
