{"id":196085,"date":"2026-07-08T11:08:12","date_gmt":"2026-07-08T11:08:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/196085\/"},"modified":"2026-07-08T11:08:12","modified_gmt":"2026-07-08T11:08:12","slug":"50k-trained-in-iraqs-kurdistan-to-boost-private-sector-shafaq-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/196085\/","title":{"rendered":"50K trained in Iraq\u2019s Kurdistan to boost private sector &#8211; Shafaq News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n                            2026-07-08T10:32:06+00:00<\/p>\n<p>                                    font<\/p>\n<p>                                            Enable Reading Mode<\/p>\n<p>\n                                        A-<br \/>\n                                        A<br \/>\n                                        A+\n                                    <\/p>\n<p>Shafaq News- Al-Sulaymaniyah<\/p>\n<p>Nearly 50,000 people in Iraq\u2019s Kurdistan Region have<br \/>\n    received vocational training over the past two decades, according to a field<br \/>\n    study by the Vision (Roya) Foundation for Strategic Studies, linking the<br \/>\n    programs to expanded employment opportunities beyond the shrinking Kurdish<br \/>\n    public sector.<\/p>\n<p>The study, presented on Wednesday during a workshop in<br \/>\n    Al-Sulaymaniyah, examined the work of vocational training directorates<br \/>\n    affiliated with the Kurdish Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, reviewing the<br \/>\n    range of programs they have provided in recent years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTrainings covered areas including vehicle driving,<br \/>\n    barbering, mobile phone maintenance, electronic repairs, and artificial<br \/>\n    intelligence technologies,\u201d Behrouz Faridoun, the Institute\u2019s media head, told<br \/>\n    Shafaq News, adding that the programs helped participants develop practical<br \/>\n    skills and improve their ability to compete in the labor market.<\/p>\n<p>Calling for vocational training programs to be designed<br \/>\n    around market demand and for opportunities in the field to be expanded, he<br \/>\n    pointed to the growing importance of private sector employment for young<br \/>\n    people, graduates, and job seekers.
