The<br \/>\nofficial exchange rate held at 1,300 dinars to the US dollar.<\/p>\n<p>Banking And<br \/>\nMarkets<\/p>\n<p>Total <a href=\"https:\/\/shafaq.com\/en\/Economy\/Iraq-s-banking-sector-grows-to-81-institutions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">bank<\/a><br \/>\ncredit extended reached 75.6 trillion dinars (about $58.2B). Trading volume on<br \/>\nthe regular market of the Iraq Stock Exchange came to roughly 0.1 trillion<br \/>\ndinars, or about 77 million dollars.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/shafaq.com\/en\/Economy\/Iraq-s-economy-to-hit-346B-GDP-by-2030\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Read more: Iraq\u2019s economy to hit $346B GDP by 2030<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The banking<br \/>\nsector recorded a decline in cash assets and a contraction in the money supply,<br \/>\nin both its narrow and broad measures, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>Trade And<br \/>\nEnergy<\/p>\n<p>Falling<br \/>\nmerchandise exports pulled down the net trade balance, leaving a trade surplus<br \/>\nof four billion dollars for the quarter.<\/p>\n<p>Domestic<br \/>\nelectricity generation totaled 35,529,823 megawatt hours.
