The US launched another round of attacks on Iran, while Kuwait activated its air defences against drones and Iran\u2019s Revolutionary Guards claimed to have struck an \u201cenemy command centre\u201d in Syria.<\/p>\n
In neighbouring Bahrain, the interior ministry said air raid sirens had been activated, urging both citizens and residents to move to \u201cthe nearest safe place\u201d.<\/p>\n
Late on Sunday, US Central Command announced the start of its ninth consecutive night of military operations against Iran. In a post on X, the command said the strikes were intended to \u201cdegrading Iranian military capabilities used to attack commercial vessels and civilian mariners\u201d in the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n
