This situation has been severely exacerbated by the recent military escalation and subsequent waves of internal displacement, significantly increasing pressure on Beirut’s institutions to meet the basic needs of hundreds of thousands of affected citizens.<\/p>\n

The High Relief Commission in Lebanon announced the receipt of this second batch of assistance provided by the United Arab Emirates through the Emirates International Aid Agency.<\/p>\n

The shipment consists of a convoy of twenty-one trucks that entered through the Masnaa border crossing, loaded with food and relief supplies destined for families who have lost their homes or have had to urgently leave their communities.<\/p>\n

The upsurge in military operations in the south of the country and the resulting mass displacement of people have placed an unsustainable financial and logistical burden on the State, local municipalities, and the network of temporary shelters operating at the limit of their capacity.<\/p>\n
