Chinese security services \u201cpaid handsomely\u201d for the data the groups stole, the department said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Integrity Technology Group, the other Chinese company, facilitated the activities of a Chinese state hacking group dubbed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/security\/blog\/2023\/08\/24\/flax-typhoon-using-legitimate-software-to-quietly-access-taiwanese-organizations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Flax Typhoon<\/a>, which security officials say has targeted organizations in Taiwan for espionage purposes.<\/p>\n<p>Flax Typhoon used Integrity\u2019s products and technology to hack into more than 65,000 devices in six EU member countries, the Council of the EU said on Monday.
