The
\nrehabilitation and expansion of the Damascus-Palmyra and Palmyra-Deir ez-Zor
\nhighways is expected to take approximately 900 days.<\/p>\n
Regarding commercial transport routes, he pointed out that
\nthe General Establishment for Road Transport is updating the economic
\nfeasibility studies for the North-South and East-West route projects ahead of
\ntheir implementation as toll roads under the build-operate-transfer (BOT)
\nmodel, aiming to improve commercial transport infrastructure and enhance
\nfreight movement across Syria.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"2026-07-26T12:00:05+00:00 font Enable Reading Mode A- A A+ Shafaq News- Damascus Syria is moving ahead with plans to…\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":223387,"comment_status":"","ping_status":"","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":"","_share_on_mastodon":"0"},"categories":[30],"tags":[152,49367,16688,95,64029],"class_list":["post-223386","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-syria","tag-breaking","tag-rehabilitation","tag-roads","tag-syria","tag-syria-launches-major-highway-restoration-plan"],"share_on_mastodon":{"url":"https:\/\/pubeurope.com\/@iran\/116986246807210637","error":""},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/223386","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=223386"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/223386\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/223387"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=223386"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=223386"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=223386"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
