{"id":224586,"date":"2026-07-27T11:08:23","date_gmt":"2026-07-27T11:08:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/224586\/"},"modified":"2026-07-27T11:08:23","modified_gmt":"2026-07-27T11:08:23","slug":"2026-lebanon-area-fair-queen-alternate-princess-and-junior-princess-crowned","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/224586\/","title":{"rendered":"2026 Lebanon Area Fair Queen, Alternate, Princess, and Junior Princess crowned"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the opening day of the 70th annual Lebanon Area Fair, Chelsie Bomgardner was crowned the 2026 Lebanon Area Fair Queen, and Anna Houser the 2026 Alternate Lebanon Area Fair Queen, by outgoing 2025 Lebanon Area Fair Queen and reigning 2026 Pennsylvania State Fair Queen Olivia Morrissey.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-height=\"1707\" data-id=\"302246\" data-url=\"https:\/\/images.lebtown.com\/uploads\/2026\/07\/IMG_3247-1024x683.jpg\" data-width=\"2560\" data-amp-layout=\"responsive\" class=\"perfmatters-lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/IMG_3247-1024x683.jpg\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" data-height=\"1707\" data-id=\"302247\" data-url=\"https:\/\/images.lebtown.com\/uploads\/2026\/07\/IMG_3250-1024x683.jpg\" data-width=\"2560\" data-amp-layout=\"responsive\" class=\"perfmatters-lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/IMG_3250-1024x683.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When asked how being involved with the Lebanon Area Fair has prepared her for her reign as fair queen, Bomgardner said, \u201cEach little moment has built up to be a great impact, and I want to inspire to be that person who also makes a great impact on the fair \u2014\u00a0and maybe one day, a girl will look up to me and want to become fair queen as well. That\u2019s my goal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entering her senior year at Northern Lebanon High School, Bomgardner said the support from her family, including her sisters who have worn fair queen and dairy princess crowns, will help balance her responsibilities as the reigning fair queen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMy family\u2019s always there and supportive. If I need someone to go feed the animals or help me with this, they\u2019re always ready and willing to help with anything I need,\u201d Bomgardner said in her new crown and sash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking to the future, Bomgardner will compete at the Pennsylvania State Association of Fairs\u2019 annual convention in Hershey in January. Beyond the crown, Bomgardner is considering continuing her education to study finance or real estate \u2014 in hopes of turning her major into a career in agriculture, such as ag real estate.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" data-wp-class--hide=\"state.isContentHidden\" data-wp-class--show=\"state.isContentVisible\" data-wp-init=\"callbacks.setButtonStyles\" data-wp-on--click=\"actions.showLightbox\" data-wp-on--load=\"callbacks.setButtonStyles\" data-wp-on--pointerdown=\"actions.preloadImage\" data-wp-on--pointerenter=\"actions.preloadImageWithDelay\" data-wp-on--pointerleave=\"actions.cancelPreload\" data-wp-on-window--resize=\"callbacks.setButtonStyles\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-302257 perfmatters-lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/IMG_3308-1024x683.jpg\"  data-\/><\/p>\n<p>\t\tThe 2026 Lebanon Area Fair Queen Chelsie Bomgardner.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also in front of a packed pavilion on the opening day of the fair, Kennedy Sanders was crowned the 2026 Lebanon Area Fair Princess, and Tenley Fetzer the 2026 Lebanon Area Fair Junior Princess, by outgoing 2025 Lebanon Area Fair Princess Madalyn Troutman.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The process starts with the submission of an application, which includes a written essay in response to the prompt \u201cwhat my fair means to my community,\u201d for queen (ages 16-20) contestants and \u201cwhat agriculture means to me\u201d for princess (ages 13-15) and junior princess (ages 10-12) contestants.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the early afternoon on the opening day of the fair, contestants are interviewed by a panel of judges. Elizabeth Voight, Miss Pennsylvania USA 2026 with Lebanon Area Fair Queen roots, also shared remarks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLike the young women here tonight, I dreamed of representing my fair, giving back to something that\u2019s given so much to me, and I was honored to be crowned the 2017 Lebanon Area Fair Queen,\u201d Voight said.
