{"id":230016,"date":"2026-07-31T03:11:39","date_gmt":"2026-07-31T03:11:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/230016\/"},"modified":"2026-07-31T03:11:39","modified_gmt":"2026-07-31T03:11:39","slug":"israeli-stabbed-at-hungarys-ozora-music-festival-two-arrested","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/230016\/","title":{"rendered":"Israeli stabbed at Hungary&#8217;s Ozora music festival, two arrested"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Israeli man in his 30s was stabbed on the grounds of the OZORA music festival in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/tags\/hungary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Hungary<\/a>, the Fej\u00e9r County Police announced in a Thursday Facebook post.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">&#8220;This morning, an employee of the OZORA Festival security service alerted police that an Israeli man in his 30s was stabbed at the event site,&#8221; police said in its statement, adding that the Israeli had been evacuated to the hospital by ambulance to receive medical treatment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Police said that it had arrested two men suspected of &#8220;assault causing life-threatening bodily harm.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">&#8220;Their charges are currently pending,&#8221; police noted, and the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Further, police announced that it has increased checks and is &#8220;continuously cooperating with the organizers to take the necessary security measures&#8221; to ensure the safety of festival-goers.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The Ozora Festival, one of the largest trance and art <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/culture\/article-902022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">festivals<\/a> in Europe, takes place annually in Hungary and attracts thousands of participants from all over the world.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">In a separate incident, Hungarian authorities reported several drug-related arrests on the festival grounds.<\/p>\n<p>Fej\u00e9r County Police added that three men, a Belgian, an Israeli, and a Portuguese citizen, were arrested on Monday on the festival grounds after being caught selling drugs. Proceedings have been opened against the three for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/tags\/drug-trafficking\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">drug trafficking.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>On Sunday evening, police in Hungary&#8217;s Tolna district arrested a 27-year-old Israeli on the way to the festival in a rented car with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/international\/article-903918\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">German<\/a> license plates.
