{"id":241492,"date":"2026-08-09T01:35:09","date_gmt":"2026-08-09T01:35:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/241492\/"},"modified":"2026-08-09T01:35:09","modified_gmt":"2026-08-09T01:35:09","slug":"israeli-lawyer-arrested-after-allegedly-smuggling-drugs-to-inmate-during-visit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/241492\/","title":{"rendered":"Israeli lawyer arrested after allegedly smuggling drugs to inmate during visit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Police arrested a lawyer from Beit Shemesh on Tuesday on suspicion of attempting to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/article-904854\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">smuggle<\/a> a substance suspected to be drugs to an inmate during a prison visit.<\/p>\n<p>According to the allegations, the lawyer arrived for a meeting with a prisoner she represents and attempted to hand over the suspected <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/crime-in-israel\/article-903592\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">drugs<\/a> during the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>According to Ynet, the lawyer attempted to smuggle 30 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/health-and-wellness\/health-and-wellness-around-the-world\/article-898219\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">pills<\/a> to the inmate, who was recently arrested in connection with a high-profile fraud case.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">When meeting with him, she gave him a hug and allegedly slipped the bag containing drugs into his hand.
