I THINK WE WILL KEEP IT!\u201d Trump proclaimed on Truth Social.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/08\/11\/world-news\/us-fired-on-panama-flagged-ship-that-tried-to-break-blockade-of-iranian-ports-report\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Naval Blockade<\/a> is being called, by everyone, \u2018A WALL OF STEEL,\u2019 and there is nothing Iran can do about it,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Trump claimed Iran is \u2018all talk and no action.\u2019 Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/07\/13\/us-news\/trump-announces-us-navy-reinstating-iran-blockade-proclaims-20-cargo-reimbursement\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">US renewed its blockade on Iranian ports<\/a> last month, with the president opting to hit Tehran with economic pressure to force the Islamic Republic to sue for peace.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Wright announced on X Tuesday that the seven-day average of oil leaving the strait was up to almost nine million barrels per day.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen combined with the additional 5-7 million barrels per day leaving the region via newly upgraded pipelines and export facilities, total oil flows are currently averaging approximately 15 million barrels per day,\u201d he added. \u201cOn Sunday alone, over 20 million barrels left the Arabian gulf region, which is above the pre-conflict average.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Only 84 vessels were recorded going through the strait last week, according to maritime data firm Kpler. However, a source familiar with the situation told The Post that many firms undercount the number of ships leaving the Strait of Hormuz due to the necessity of maintaining secrecy.<\/p>\n<p>Under the previous US Navy blockade which lasted from April 13 through June 18, only about <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/06\/10\/world-news\/2m-barrels-of-oil-per-day-is-escaping-the-strait-of-hormuz-experts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">2.1 million barrels of oil were escaping <\/a>the strait every day under the threat of Iranian military action.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn coordination with the US military, the US Department of Energy maintains the best available data related to oil and oil products leaving the Arabian gulf,\u201d a spokesperson told The Post Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>In his message Wednesday, Trump said of Iran: \u201cThey have no Navy, they have no Air Force, their remaining soldiers are unpaid, the IRGC is decimated and fleeing, and their \u2018Leadership\u2019 is uncertain, at best!<\/p>\n<p>Components of the Dwight D.
