Tyler Simmons, 28, of Columbus, Ohio(WXIX)<\/p>\nCOLUMBUS, Ohio (WXIX) – President Donald Trump and Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and his wife, Fran, are expected to attend Wednesday\u2019s dignified transfer of the three Ohio airmen killed overseas during Operation Epic Fury. <\/p>\n
It is scheduled to begin at 1:25 p.m. at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.<\/p>\n
The airmen were among a six-member crew killed on March 12 during an air refueling mission in Iraq. <\/p>\n
They were with the 121st Air Refueling Wing at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base in Columbus:<\/p>\n

A dignified transfer is a solemn movement where the remains of fallen military members are transferred from the aircraft to an awaiting vehicle upon their return to the U.S.<\/p>\n
It is conducted with precision by military carry teams to ensure the highest level of respect.<\/p>\n
\u201cFran and I will join senior staff from the Ohio National Guard to travel to Dover Air Force Base to pay our respects to Capt. Seth Koval, Capt. Curtis Angst, and\u00a0Master Sgt. Tyler Simmons, who was posthumously promoted by Ohio\u2019s Adjutant General from the rank of technical sergeant,\u201d DeWine said Tuesday in a social media post.<\/p>\n
Gov. DeWine has also ordered U.S. and Ohio flags to be flown at half-staff on public buildings and grounds until sunset on the day of the service members\u2019 funerals. <\/p>\n
