Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have condemned an attack on two oil tankers belonging to the United Arab Emirates\u2019 state-owned oil company in the Strait of Hormuz, with Riyadh holding Iran responsible for the incident.<\/p>\n
Al Jazeera reported on Friday, August 14, 2026, that Saudi Arabia described the attack as a \u201cdangerous escalation\u201d and a \u201cdirect threat\u201d to maritime shipping and global energy supplies.
