Likud launched a billboard ahead of election season featuring New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani alongside Iran’s Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem, writing that the four “want Netanyahu to lose” the October election.<\/p>\n
The billboard further calls to “not let them win.”<\/p>\n
Netanyahu also reposted a picture of the billboard and captioned the post: \u201cDon\u2019t let them win.\u201d<\/p>\n
The billboard, which social media posts claim stands in Jerusalem, features superimposed images of the four men with the caption: \u201cThey want Netanyahu to lose, don\u2019t let them win.\u201d<\/p>\n
However,\u00a0the Likud<\/a> billboard stands in Tel Aviv overlooking the Ayalon Highway.<\/p>\n In response, several Israeli politicians and political parties posted their own versions of the billboard.<\/p>\n Yashar, the party led by former IDF chief of staff Gadi Eisenkot<\/a>, responded with a version that read: \u201cThey want the IDF to collapse, don\u2019t let Netanyahu win.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNetanyahu, we fixed for you,\u201d the X\/Twitter caption read. \u201cOnly Eisenkot will establish a fully Zionist government.\u201d<\/p>\n In a different post, MK Naama Lazimi posted the same billboard, but with pictures of Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Netanyahu\u2019s former strategic adviser Yonatan Urich, Netanyahu\u2019s former security spokesperson Eli Feldstein, and former Netanyahu political adviser Srulik Einhorn, all of whom are believed to be involved in the Qatargate affair.<\/p>\n
