{"id":251919,"date":"2026-08-16T23:46:13","date_gmt":"2026-08-16T23:46:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/251919\/"},"modified":"2026-08-16T23:46:13","modified_gmt":"2026-08-16T23:46:13","slug":"iran-offering-30000-for-the-slaughter-and-capture-of-us-soldiers-army-chief-says","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/251919\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran offering $30,000 for the slaughter and capture of US soldiers, army chief says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tehran\u2019s military chief put out a $30,000 reward for anyone who kills or captures <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/07\/20\/world-news\/pentagon-identifies-2-us-soldiers-killed-in-weekend-attack-by-iran\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a US soldier <\/a>\u2014 with the reward doubled for Iranian women \u2014 but it remains unclear how they can carry out the orders. <\/p>\n<p>Iranian army chief Amir Hatami said there were a \u201clarge number of requests\u201d for bounties to be put on <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/08\/15\/world-news\/iranian-billboard-shows-skeleton-of-us-soldier-next-to-strait-of-hormuz\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the American soldiers<\/a> despite the lack of US ground forces in Iran.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnyone who kills or captures and hands over an invading American military personnel will receive a reward equivalent to $30,000 or 5 billion tomans from the Islamic Republic of Iran\u2019s Army,\u201d Hatami told IRNA. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cCourageous Iranian women who carry out such an action will receive double the reward,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n<p>Iranian army chief Amir Hatami announced a $30,000 bounty against US soldiers over the weekend.  via REUTERS<\/p>\n<p>It remains unclear how exactly the average Iranian is meant to capitalize on the bounty when there are no US troops stationed inside the country.  CENTCOM \/ SWNS<\/p>\n<p>The army chief even claimed that the weapon used to kill an American would be kept in a supposed museum currently under planning. <\/p>\n<p>Hatami, however, made no mention of when or where attacks on US soldiers, who are stationed beyond the reach of the average Iranians, would take place.<\/p>\n<p>The 18 US troops who have died since the war with Iran began on Feb. 28 have all died outside the country in airstrikes and munition incidents. <\/p>\n<p>US troops are currently carrying out the blockade on Iran\u2019s ports.
