{"id":25503,"date":"2026-03-18T18:36:33","date_gmt":"2026-03-18T18:36:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/25503\/"},"modified":"2026-03-18T18:36:33","modified_gmt":"2026-03-18T18:36:33","slug":"iraqi-naturalized-citizen-released-after-bringing-gun-to-school","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/25503\/","title":{"rendered":"Iraqi Naturalized Citizen Released After Bringing Gun to School"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A naturalized citizen born in Iraq is free from jail after facing charges for entering a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2025\/11\/18\/breaking-texas-governor-designates-largest-muslim-activist-group-foreign-terrorist-organization\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Texas elementary school<\/a> with a gun and tactical gear.<\/p>\n<p>Kyle Najm Chris, also known as Muhi Mohanad Najm, 39, allegedly walked into the front office of Zwink Elementary School in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2026\/03\/15\/lawyers-texas-anti-ice-agitators-try-discredit-anti-antifa-witness-citing-group-carries-water-antifa-splc\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Spring, Texas<\/a>, last Tuesday, wearing a load-bearing vest, a taser, and a holstered firearm.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities arrested Chris on Wednesday, and the Harris County District Attorney charged him with possession of a prohibited weapon, a third-degree felony, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.khou.com\/article\/news\/crime\/man-enter-spring-elementary-school-armed-court-docs-show\/285-941acaf7-09c3-4666-b479-0a8dafed017b\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">KHOU reported<\/a>. The law prohibits carrying weapons on school premises.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities released Chris from jail Sunday after he posted a $75,000 bond, according to court records reviewed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/iraqi-born-man-released-from-jail-after-showing-up-to-elementary-school-in-tactical-gear-with-gun\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Daily Wire<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Chris allegedly walked into the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2026\/03\/03\/silencing-parents-christian-school-facing-dei-accusations-imposes-policy-seeking-police-text-messages\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">school\u2019s front office<\/a> after another visitor failed to close the door. A school employee asked Chris how he entered, and he said the door was unlatched. He reportedly asked if there was armed security on school property.<\/p>\n<p>After school staff asked him to provide an ID, he refused and left the school. <\/p>\n<p>While Chris has left jail, he remains under 24-hour house arrest with a GPS monitor, and the court has forbidden him from going near any property belonging to the Klein Independent School District, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox26houston.com\/news\/klein-isd-school-man-armed-gun-arrest-2026-march\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fox 26 reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Chris has a private investigator license. <\/p>\n<p>Chris did not open fire and his motives remain unknown. However, this incident follows a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2026\/03\/13\/need-vigilant-more-radical-islamist-attacks-are-coming-next-few-weeks-muslim-reformer-warns\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">string of violent attacks<\/a> allegedly perpetrated by naturalized citizens or children of naturalized citizens from Middle Eastern and African countries after President Donald Trump launched Operation Epic Fury in Iran.<\/p>\n<p>1. Texas Shooting<\/p>\n<p>A gunman later identified as Ndiaga Diagne opened fire at a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/newshour\/nation\/suspect-in-texas-bar-shooting-wore-property-of-allah-clothing-and-iranian-flag-emblem-according-to-ap-source\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">bar in Austin, Texas<\/a>, on March 1, about 24 hours after Trump announced Operation Epic Fury. Diagne, a naturalized citizen who was born in Senegal, killed two people and wounded 14 before police shot and killed him. He had been wearing a shirt with an Iranian flag and a hoodie reading \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2026\/03\/01\/potentially-an-act-of-terrorism-texas-shooter-was-wearing-allah-t-shirt\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Property of Allah<\/a>.\u201d The FBI is investigating the shooting as an act of terrorism, possibly tied to the war.<\/p>\n<p>2. Gracie Mansion Bombing<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, March 7, Emir Balat, 18, and Ibrahim Kayumi, 19, allegedly attempted to detonate two improvised explosive devices, targeting protesters outside Gracie Mansion, the residence of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani. The protesters had been opposing radical Muslims. According to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/opa\/pr\/two-isis-supporters-charged-attempting-detonate-explosive-devices-during-protests-outside\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Justice Department<\/a>, both men expressed their\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2026\/03\/09\/doj-nypd-calls-new-york-terror-suspects-isis-inspired\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">support for the Islamic State<\/a>. Balat\u2019s parents, born in Turkey, are naturalized citizens. Kayumi\u2019s parents reportedly came to the U.S. from Afghanistan and are naturalized citizens.<\/p>\n<p>3. Old Dominion University<\/p>\n<p>On March 12, Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, 36, shouted \u201cAllahu Akbar\u201d before opening fire inside a classroom for the Reserve Officer Training Corps at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, according to an FBI special agent. Jalloh, a naturalized citizen born in Sierra Leone, killed an Army ROTC instructor and injured two others. Jalloh, who died of stabbing injuries after the ROTC students responded in self-defense, had previously been convicted of attempting to provide material\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/us-news\/suspect-old-dominion-university-shooting-was-convicted-isis-supporter-rcna263256\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">support to ISIS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>4. Temple Israel Synagogue<\/p>\n<p>Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, 41, a Lebanese-born naturalized citizen, rammed a vehicle into the building of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/us\/live-news\/michigan-synagogue-shooting-03-12-26\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Temple Israel synagogue<\/a>\u00a0in West Bloomington Township, Michigan, on March 12. He damaged the building and engaged in gunfire with armed security, who killed him. The FBI has described the attack as a targeted act of violence against the Jewish community.
