{"id":259616,"date":"2026-08-21T22:26:13","date_gmt":"2026-08-21T22:26:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/259616\/"},"modified":"2026-08-21T22:26:13","modified_gmt":"2026-08-21T22:26:13","slug":"shafaq-news-irans-speaker-calls-foreign-troop-withdrawal-from-iraq-essential-step","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/259616\/","title":{"rendered":"Shafaq News..Iran\u2019s Speaker calls foreign troop withdrawal from Iraq \u201cessential step\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n                            2026-08-21T21:59:46+00:00<\/p>\n<p>                                    font<\/p>\n<p>                                            Enable Reading Mode<\/p>\n<p>\n                                        A-<br \/>\n                                        A<br \/>\n                                        A+\n                                    <\/p>\n<p>Shafaq News- Baghdad<\/p>\n<p>The withdrawal of foreign forces from Iraq is \u201ca very<br \/>\nimportant and essential step,\u201d Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher<br \/>\nGhalibaf stated on Friday. <\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a press conference at the end of a three-day<br \/>\nvisit to Iraq by an Iranian parliamentary delegation, Ghalibaf affirmed that \u201cIran<br \/>\nsupports any agreement reached by Iraqi factions and officials within the<br \/>\nframework of their constitution while preserving their independence,<br \/>\nsovereignty and governance.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Earlier, <a href=\"https:\/\/shafaq.com\/en\/Iraq\/Ghalibaf-hails-Iraqi-resistance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Ghalibaf<\/a> said Iraqi &#8220;resistance&#8221;<br \/>\n\u2014the Iran-aligned armed factions\u2014had become a key source of national<br \/>\nstrength and that its influence extended beyond Iraq&#8217;s borders.<\/p>\n<p>He characterized his<br \/>\ntalks with senior Iraqi officials as \u201cfriendly and brotherly,\u201d stressing that<br \/>\n\u201cwe never interfere in Iraq\u2019s internal affairs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ghalibaf described the visit as \u201csuccessful and productive\u201d<br \/>\nacross economic, social, cultural, political, and security fields, particularly<br \/>\ngiven the \u201csensitive circumstances\u201d the region is currently facing.<\/p>\n<p>The Iranian official also said discussions had covered<br \/>\neconomic issues and that a meeting would be held within the next two weeks.
