This visit is a continuation of ongoing diplomatic and military cooperation between the two countries. Field Marshal Munir, in his capacity as Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Forces, previously held productive telephone talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi. These talks focused on ways to enhance peace, stability, and security in the West Asia region.
