{"id":261437,"date":"2026-08-23T16:33:07","date_gmt":"2026-08-23T16:33:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/261437\/"},"modified":"2026-08-23T16:33:07","modified_gmt":"2026-08-23T16:33:07","slug":"iraq-to-repatriate-6000-foreign-prisoners-held-in-prisons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/261437\/","title":{"rendered":"Iraq to repatriate 6,000 foreign prisoners held in prisons"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) \u2013 The Iraqi Ministry of Justice has launched legal and diplomatic efforts to repatriate about 6,000 foreign inmates to their home countries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Iraqi National Security Council has authorized an official direction for this large-scale initiative.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The initiative involves over 6,000 detained and sentenced individuals from 61 foreign countries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Syrian nationals make up the biggest group.
