The<br \/>\ncurrent proposal would instead give the alliance the Planning Ministry, while<br \/>\nassigning Culture to Al-Jamaheer Party, led by Ahmad Al-Jbouri, known as Abu<br \/>\nMazen.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/shafaq.com\/en\/Iraq\/Iraq-s-Al-Azm-calls-for-fairness-amid-leader-s-corruption-charges\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Al-Azm<\/a> leader Ammar al-Azzawi denied that the alliance would<br \/>\ngive up its claimed entitlement, saying its electoral and political share<br \/>\nreflected the will of voters and its supporters. \u201cAl-Azm\u2019s entitlement is the<br \/>\nMinistries of Planning and Culture,\u201d al-Azzawi told Shafaq News, describing the<br \/>\nallocation as part of a political commitment by other blocs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will not give up this entitlement under any circumstances<br \/>\nor pressure,\u201d he said, noting that the alliance had understandings on the<br \/>\nmatter with political partners from different blocs.<\/p>\n<p>Al-Azm, led by al-Samarrai, received more than 127,000 votes<br \/>\nin the latest parliamentary elections, placing sixth among the competing<br \/>\npolitical lists.
