Juliet, along with several others across Middle Tennessee.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The Wawa now open is at 1000 Murfreesboro Road in Lebanon just south of Interstate 40. <a data-ylk=\"slk:A grand opening is scheduled at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 2, but has been open to the public for several days.;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" data-yga=\"{&quot;yLinkElement&quot;:&quot;link&quot;,&quot;yLinkElementType&quot;:&quot;article_link&quot;}\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tennessean.com\/story\/news\/local\/2026\/08\/05\/wawa-tn-lebanon-murfreesboro-dickson\/91180702007\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">A grand opening is scheduled at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 2, but has been open to the public for several days.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Final approval was also gained in late August for a Wawa store at 670 South Hartmann Drive in Lebanon, according to the city&#8217;s planning department. The proposed Wawa in Lebanon is within the South Hartmann Overlay and did not need preliminary approval from the Planning Commission.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Wawa recently opened in Clarksville with more Tennessee stores on the way.\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"960\" height=\"469\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"rounded-lg\" style=\"color:transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/https:\/\/media.zenfs.com\/en\/the_tennessean_natl_articles_921\/fbbb72db4ca88b05942d0f14ee288ebb.png\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Wawa recently opened in Clarksville with more Tennessee stores on the way.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A construction timeline is still uncertain.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A future Wawa is also part of a large mixed-use project in Mt. Juliet named Golden Bear Place on Golden Bear Gateway. <a data-ylk=\"slk:Golden Bear Place will include a bowling alley, hotel and hundreds of residential units.;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" data-yga=\"{&quot;yLinkElement&quot;:&quot;link&quot;,&quot;yLinkElementType&quot;:&quot;article_link&quot;}\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tennessean.com\/story\/news\/local\/wilson\/mt-juliet\/2023\/11\/28\/mt-juliet-golden-bear-place-plans-bowling-alley-hyatt-hotel-homes-more\/71721265007\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Golden Bear Place will include a bowling alley, hotel and hundreds of residential units.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The Mt. Juliet Wawa is tentatively estimated to open in the first quarter of 2027, said Mark McDonald of Oldacre McDonald. A new McDonald&#8217;s restaurant could also open in Golden Bear Place the first quarter of next year, McDonald said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Wawa, a convenience and fuel store, is known for made-to-order hoagies, Sizzli breakfast sandwiches and a signature coffee.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Tennessee&#8217;s first Wawa opened in Clarksville in June. Plans are to open 50 locations in the state in the next 10 years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Stores will hire around 35 workers each.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A Wawa also opened in Dickson in August.
