Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to the Iraqi Wa’a News Agency, “Haider al-Aboudi”, the Iraqi government spokesman, announced: Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi has rejected the proposal to continue the presence of some of the international coalition forces in Iraq after September 30.<\/p>\n
Al-Aboudi said in a press conference that the Iraqi government is closely following regional developments and that Iraq will not be part of the conflicts.<\/p>\n
He also emphasized that the coordination process for the withdrawal of coalition forces and the handover of positions to Iraqi forces is underway.<\/p>\n
In another part of his statements, the Iraqi government spokesman said: The country’s government is completing measures related to the monopoly of weapons, their organization and the integration of decision-making.<\/p>\n
He added that the talks with the armed groups are \u201cpositive\u201d and that the case will be concluded before September 30, a process that he said will be a transitional phase based on cooperation and mutual interests.<\/p>\n
Al-Aboudi also said about the fight against corruption: the government will continue to pursue the accused to \u201cdry up the sources of corruption.\u201d<\/p>\n
He emphasized: \u201cJudicial orders are independent decisions and one of the pillars of the government, and their results for the fight against corruption are evident.\u201d<\/p>\n
Al-Aboudi added: \u201cThe government announces that the remaining criteria for the fight against corruption have not been met for years.\u201d<\/p>\n
