The IDF began a wave of strikes in southern Lebanon<\/a> on Sunday morning following the launch of two drones by Hezbollah terrorists towards troops operating within the security zone, the military announced.<\/p>\n

During the Hezbollah attack, IDF<\/a> soldiers opened fire on the drones<\/a> and downed one of them.<\/p>\n

No IDF injuries were reported.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the strikes, IDF Arabic Spokesperson Lt. Col. Ella Waweya issued an evacuation order to residents of the southern Lebanese town of Arab Salim on X\/Twitter.<\/p>\n

“We urge all residents present in the building marked in red on the attached map and the adjacent buildings to evacuate immediately,” she wrote. “You are located near a facility belonging to the terrorist organization Hezbollah<\/a>, which the IDF will act against.”<\/p>\n

Residents were urged to stay at least 300 meters away from the building marked on the map Waweya shared.<\/p>\n
