this week, after Iran threatened on Monday to retaliate for any new U.S. attacks.<\/p>\n<p>The \u200cnumber of \u2060commodity \u2060vessels sailing through the Strait of Hormuz \u200btotalled seven interests, \u200bwas vulnerable.<\/p>\n<p>Goldman \u200bSachs also raised its \u2060Brent and West Texas Intermediate crude oil \u200bprice forecasts for December 2026 \u200band 2027, as it expects shipping disruptions in the Middle East to persist into next year.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"ET logo\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/118783427.cms.png\" width=\"90%\"\/>Live Events<br \/>Traffic increased through the <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/bab-el-mandeb-strait\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Bab el-Mandeb strait<\/a>, however, \u200canother major waterway for <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/commodity-vessels\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">commodity vessels<\/a>.<br \/>A total of 29 commodity \u200bvessels passed \u200bthrough Bab \u2060el-Mandeb on Monday, up from 17 on the previous day, Kpler data showed.<\/p>\n<p>Some vessels \u200bmay be sailing through the two straits with their transponders off, which is
