{"id":284241,"date":"2026-09-08T21:40:18","date_gmt":"2026-09-08T21:40:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/284241\/"},"modified":"2026-09-08T21:40:18","modified_gmt":"2026-09-08T21:40:18","slug":"israel-busts-major-hamas-linked-terror-network-arrest-30-terrorists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/284241\/","title":{"rendered":"Israel busts major Hamas-linked terror network, arrest 30 terrorists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A large <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/defense-news\/article-906913\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hamas-linked terrorist<\/a> infrastructure that allegedly recruited cells across the West Bank to carry out attacks against Israeli civilians and security personnel was uncovered in a joint operation by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), Israel Police and the IDF, the agencies announced on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>More than 30 suspects from Jerusalem and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/defense-news\/article-907809\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">West Bank<\/a> were arrested as part of the operation, according to the security agencies. Investigations into some of those detained remained ongoing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Among those arrested were Jerusalem residents Tzabih Abu Tzabih and Rashid Rishq, whom authorities identified as members of Shabab al-Aqsa, an organization affiliated with Hamas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Abu Tzabih is the son of Misbah Abu Tzabih, who carried out a shooting attack in Jerusalem in October 2016 that killed two Israelis. The victims in that attack were Adv.-Staff-Sgt.-Maj. (credit: IDF Spokesperson\u2019s Unit)Broad Hamas terror infrastructure established, armed cells recruited<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Three additional Jerusalem residents, Mohammed Abu Tzabih, Mohammed Azmi Bakri and Ahmad Azmi Bakri, were also arrested on suspicion of belonging to the infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>The Shin Bet and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/crime-in-israel\/article-907663\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jerusalem District Police&#8217;s Central Unit<\/a> investigation found that Rishq and Tzabih Abu Tzabih had allegedly established the broader terrorist infrastructure and recruited armed cells under their command throughout the West Bank, according to the statement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">The cells were intended to carry out attacks against Jews and Israeli security personnel, authorities said.
