CNBC\u2019s Sara Eisen clashed with the \u00a0co-hosts of “The View”<\/a> Friday, arguing President Donald Trump\u2019s military operation in Iran will keep future generations of Americans safe, but her co-hosts were unconvinced.<\/p>\n

Eisen, who was serving as a guest co-host, argued that a case could be made for toppling Iran.<\/p>\n

“It is a strategic opportunity so\u00a0that our children do not have to\u00a0face the greatest state sponsor\u00a0of terror being a nuclear power,” she said.<\/p>\n

“When they get a\u00a0nuclear weapon, and they\u00a0threaten our ally, Israel, or\u00a0Eastern Europe, then it\u2019s too\u00a0later.<\/p>\n

“So, you feel safer today?” “View” co-host Ana Navarro asked.<\/p>\n

Eisen argued that she felt safer knowing\u00a0that America is working to prevent the rise of a potential nuclear threat. Co-host Sara Haines, while sympathetic to her perspective, argued that the past has lessons that should be heeded<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I agree with all the\u00a0points you just made. My fear\u00a0going in, although I could see\u00a0taking out the leadership in\u00a0Iran was a good thing, was what\u00a0is \u2014 how do we get out?” she asked. “Because\u00a0we have watched this in Iraq<\/a>.\u00a0We watched what happened.”<\/p>\n

Haines went on to argue that Iran would not only be a uniquely dangerous territory to invade but an impossible war due to the succession of Iranian leadership. (The Trump administration has said much of Iran’s leadership has been killed in strikes during Operation Epic Fury.)<\/p>\n

Haines also noted that there is a particularly extreme culture in Iran among its leadership to the point where it specifically “honors death” in that Iranian regime loyalists believe martyrdom against the enemy grants an eternal reward in the afterlife. This, she argued, has no equivalent in America.<\/p>\n

When Eisen claimed Trump is indeed aware that the American public has no desire for another long-term ground war,<\/a> co-host Sunny Hostin jokingly quipped, “You think he has a plan or the \u2018concepts of a plan?\u2019”<\/p>\n

Sara Eisen has locked horns with her co-hosts numerous times as she has defended President Donald Trump’s administration.<\/p>\n

“I believe that they have more than you guys give them credit for,” Eisen replied, citing multiple strategic goals they have laid out.<\/p>\n

Navarro later argued Trump has made a grave miscalculation with Iran.<\/p>\n

“Frankly, I think \u2014 I think Trump has what a friend of mine called \u2018Venezuela derangement syndrome,\u2019 and he thought getting rid of the regime and finding people to work with in Iran was going to be as easy as it was in Venezuela. And it\u2019s proven to be a completely different ball of wax,” Navarro said.<\/p>\n

White House spokeswoman Olivia Wales told Fox News Digital Trump had four distinct goals concerning Operation Epic Fury.<\/p>\n

“The Trump-deranged wackos on \u2018The View\u2019 have no talent and a very poorly rated TV show,” Wales said.<\/p>\n

“President Trump launched Operation Epic Fury with four distinct goals: Destroy the Iranian regime\u2019s ballistic missile and production capacity, annihilate the Iranian regime\u2019s Navy, end their ability to arm proxies and guarantee that Iran can never obtain a nuclear weapon.<\/p>\n

“The United States military is meeting or exceeding all of its benchmarks, and the president\u2019s decisive action is quickly eliminating short- and long-term threats to the United States and our allies.”<\/p>\n
