The Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Lebanon County will hold their annual Plant Sale & Garden Faire on Saturday, May 2, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.<\/p>\n

The sale, which has a theme of \u201cRight Plant, Right Place, Right Practice,\u201d will be held in the Brightbill Barn at the Lebanon Expo Center, 80 Rocherty Road, according to a release.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe sale offers a variety of plants and gardening essentials to help you create a thriving garden,\u201d the release says. \u201cThe theme of \u2018Right Plant, Right Place, Right Practice\u2019 emphasizes the importance of choosing plants that are suited to your garden\u2019s environment and using sustainable practices to support a healthy, beautiful garden.\u201d<\/p>\n

The sale will feature a wide selection of native plants, annuals, perennials, tomatoes, peppers, vegetables, and herbs that\u2019s \u201cperfect for gardeners of all skill levels,\u201d the release says. \u201cWhether you\u2019re an experienced horticulturist or just starting your gardening journey, you\u2019ll find plants that thrive in the Lebanon County climate and tips on how to make them flourish in your own space.\u201d<\/p>\n

The event this year also includes a \u201cgreen elephant\u201d section with \u201cgently used\u201d gardening items, tools, and plants, as well as on-site gardening advice from certified Master Gardeners to help with selecting the right plants and providing proper care for them. The release notes that plants are available \u201cthat are suitable for all types of gardens, from sunny spots to shaded corners, and from small urban plots to larger landscapes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cash, check, and credit card payments are accepted for purchases. Proceeds benefit the Penn State Extension Master Gardener Program, which provides educational resources and community outreach initiatives throughout Lebanon County.<\/p>\n
