LEBANON, Ore. – A local volunteer volleyball coach faces charges following an investigation into inappropriate communications with a minor, according to the Lebanon Police Department.<\/p>\n
LPD officials said that 20-year-old Alyssa Joan Baker was indicted last month for sending explicit messages to a student she coached. The investigation began in Oct. 2025 after a parent discovered the communications. The Lebanon Community School District has since terminated Baker’s volunteer access. Baker is charged with one count of luring a minor and is currently held at Linn County Jail.<\/p>\n
The investigation is ongoing.
