Iran\u2019s Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI) on Saturday warned that US
\nand Israeli strikes on its nuclear facilities could carry serious consequences,
\ncalling for an emergency meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to
\naddress the fallout.<\/p>\n

The Organization reported no signs of contamination or
\nincreased radiation levels beyond the country\u2019s nuclear facilities, adding that
\nthe radiological situation remains under control.<\/p>\n

Urging IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi to take firmer
\naction that \u201ccould have served as a deterrent\u201d against targeting nuclear sites,
\nit noted that countries across the region had been alerted in advance to the
\npotential risks surrounding such attacks.<\/p>\n

Earlier today, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi accused<\/a> Israel and the United States of striking the Bushehr Nuclear Power
\nPlant, pointing out that the facility has come under attack four times so far.<\/p>\n

The IAEA later reported that Iran informed it of a
\nprojectile landing near the Bushehr plant, damaging a building and killing a
\nmember of the facility\u2019s security staff, with no rise in radiation levels
\nrecorded. Bushehr, located on Iran\u2019s Gulf coast, is the country\u2019s only civilian
