A hilarious exchange during the March 28 No Kings Rally<\/a> in Manhattan went viral after a woke protestor was caught on video condemning society\u2019s treatment of the non-existent \u201cgays of Hormuz.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIsn\u2019t it a little homophobic that we\u2019re so focused on the straights of Hormuz \u2014 and not the gays of Hormuz?\u201d comedian Lionel Leede asked the anti-Trump demonstrator, in a play on words on the Strait of Hormuz<\/a>, the crucial oil shipping lane that\u2019s been choked by the war in Iran<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"AThe protestor condemned society\u2019s treatment of the non-existent \u201cgays of Hormuz.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes,\u201d she proceeded to answer with strikingly misplaced confidence, nodding emphatically. \u201cYes, I agree. For sure.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy do you think they are willing to leave the gays of Hormuz behind?\u201d Leede continued trolling the unsuspecting rioter, who was sporting a \u201cdeport the racists\u201d button adorned with flowers.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s just, historically, gays have always been very discriminated against, which is wrong on so many levels\u2026 even in war,\u201d she replied pensively.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt just takes more reform in government \u2014 obviously \u2014 and educating society,\u201d she concluded.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just feel like if we\u2019re going to go in there, we can\u2019t leave the gay people behind\u2026we can turn it into Fire Island,\u201d Leede continued while keeping a straight face.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor sure,\u201d the protestor replied.<\/p>\n

Commentors on social media<\/a> were savage with some noting the interviewer reminded them of actor Sacha Baron-Cohen\u2019s<\/a> infamous prankster character.<\/p>\n

\u201cI admire her courage to speak in the complete absence of knowledge,\u201d wrote one.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re always somehow so well spoken and articulate with their big words yet have absolutely nothing upstairs,\u201d chimed in another.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomebody has watched too much Ali G,\u201d someone else wrote.<\/p>\n
