{"id":58477,"date":"2026-04-08T21:16:08","date_gmt":"2026-04-08T21:16:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/58477\/"},"modified":"2026-04-08T21:16:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-08T21:16:08","slug":"trumps-truce-with-tehran-letters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/iran\/58477\/","title":{"rendered":"Trump\u2019s truce with Tehran: Letters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Issue: Iran agreeing to a two-week cease-fire and reopening the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n<p>President <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/04\/08\/us-news\/trump-says-he-didnt-play-madman-to-scare-iran-into-cease-fire-i-was-willing-to-do-it\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Donald Trump<\/a> has once again shown his compassion for an oppressed population by allowing Iran to agree to a cease-fire in this war (<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/04\/07\/world-news\/trump-announces-two-week-double-sided-ceasefire-hours-before-iran-deadline-hints-that-deal-is-close-to-finalized\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cDon\u2019s halt on Doomsday,\u201d <\/a>April 8).<\/p>\n<p>The cease-fire must be dependent on the total cooperation of the Iranian government and military, and any violation of it should be a green light for the \u201cGreat Satan\u201d to destroy the Real Satan.<\/p>\n<p>Bo Madden<\/p>\n<p>Jupiter, Fla.<\/p>\n<p>Iran can never be trusted with any deal.
