WASHINGTON, April 10 \u2014 The coalition that propelled Donald J. Trump back to the White House is facing a historic internal collapse.<\/p>\n
In a vitriolic social media broadside, the US president has declared war on his most prominent media allies, labelling them \u201clow IQ\u201d and \u201cnut jobs\u201d for opposing his administration\u2019s ongoing military conflict with Iran.<\/p>\n
The outburst, posted on Truth Social today, signals a total rupture between President Trump and the alternative media vanguard \u2014 including Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones \u2014 who have become increasingly vocal critics of the US-Israel strikes launched against Tehran last month.<\/p>\n
\u2018Stupid people\u2019<\/p>\n
Trump, who defeated Kamala Harris in the 2024 election to reclaim the presidency, did not mince words regarding the pundits who once formed his ideological backbone. He accused the group of being \u201cstupid people\u201d who have \u201cone thing in common: Low IQs.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI know why Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones have all been fighting me for years,\u201d Trump wrote, claiming they are only seeking \u201ccheap publicity\u201d for their \u201cthird-rate podcasts.\u201d<\/p>\n
The president saved his sharpest barbs for Carlson, calling the former Fox News host a \u201cbroken man\u201d who \u201cshould see a good psychiatrist.\u201d<\/p>\n
He also targeted Candace Owens, mocking her legal disputes with the First Lady of France and disparagingly comparing her appearance to that of the French First Lady.<\/p>\n
The “MAGA” civil war appears rooted in the unpopularity of the March 2026 military intervention in Iran.<\/p>\n
