The Shiite Coordination
\nFramework (CF) is set to decide on its nominee for Iraq\u2019s prime minister within
\n24 hours, with an additional contender now under consideration, MP Riyadh Uday
\nof Al-Hikma (Wisdom) Movement told Shafaq News on Monday.<\/p>\n
Uday noted that the CF, the largest
\nparliamentary bloc with about 162 of parliament\u2019s 329 seats, is bound by a
\nfive-day constitutional window to present its candidate. The bloc\u2019s internal
\nmechanism, he clarified, requires either a two-thirds majority or full
\nconsensus among its leaders to finalize the choice.<\/p>\n
