data-vars-target-content-id=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/116437457191403164\" data-vars-target-content-type=\"url\" data-vars-type=\"web_external_link\" data-vars-subunit-name=\"article_body\" data-vars-subunit-type=\"component\" data-vars-position-in-subunit=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Monday morning Truth Social post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Trump seemed to be on the defence as he lashed out online one day after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/donald-trump\/poll-trumps-approval-rating-hits-second-term-low-economy-iran-war-rcna331462\" target=\"_blank\" role=\"link\" class=\" js-entry-link cet-external-link\" data-vars-item-name=\"an NBC News Decision Desk Poll revealed\" data-vars-item-type=\"text\" data-vars-unit-name=\"69e707b6e4b0ff46b4110df5\" data-vars-unit-type=\"buzz_body\" data-vars-target-content-id=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/donald-trump\/poll-trumps-approval-rating-hits-second-term-low-economy-iran-war-rcna331462\" data-vars-target-content-type=\"url\" data-vars-type=\"web_external_link\" data-vars-subunit-name=\"article_body\" data-vars-subunit-type=\"component\" data-vars-position-in-subunit=\"2\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">an NBC News Decision Desk Poll revealed<\/a> his approval rating had sunk to a second-term low of 32% amid criticism around the conflict in the Middle East and his handling of inflation.<\/p>\n<p>Swearing that Israel \u201cnever talked me into the war with Iran,\u201d he claimed the October 7, 2023, attacks carried out by Hamas \u201cadded to my lifelong opinion that IRAN CAN NEVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI watch and read the FAKE NEWS Pundits and Polls in total disbelief,\u201d he wrote while rehashing his favorite gripe. \u201c90% of what they say are lies and made up href=\"https:\/\/www.huffpost.com\/entry\/nicolas-maduro-captured-venezuela_n_6958f542e4b048f68c302c3c\" target=\"_blank\" role=\"link\" class=\" js-entry-link cet-internal-link\" data-vars-item-name=\"mission to remove\" data-vars-item-type=\"text\" data-vars-unit-name=\"69e707b6e4b0ff46b4110df5\" data-vars-unit-type=\"buzz_body\" data-vars-target-content-id=\"6958f542e4b048f68c302c3c\" data-vars-target-content-type=\"buzz\" data-vars-type=\"web_internal_link\" data-vars-subunit-name=\"article_body\" data-vars-subunit-type=\"component\" data-vars-position-in-subunit=\"3\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">mission to remove<\/a> Venezuelan President <a amazing,\u201d the president boasted. \u201cAnd if Iran\u2019s new leaders (Regime Change!) are smart, Iran can have a great and prosperous future!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump took a far more threatening approach while addressing Iranian leaders online the day prior, vowing to \u201cknock out every single\u201d one of the nation\u2019s power plants and bridges if leaders don\u2019t accept the terms of the United States\u2019 current proposal.<\/p>\n<p>While the end of the two-week ceasefire agreement is approaching, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/live\/2026\/04\/20\/world\/iran-us-war-trump-hormuz\" target=\"_blank\" role=\"link\" class=\" js-entry-link cet-external-link\" data-vars-item-name=\"The New York Times reports\" data-vars-item-type=\"text\" data-vars-unit-name=\"69e707b6e4b0ff46b4110df5\" data-vars-unit-type=\"buzz_body\"
